Please refer to our directions map
• Avoid using Google Maps and other mobile map apps, as these utilities may take you on a gravel road that is not the ideal way to get to Babirwa Golf and Bush Lodge
• You will stay on a tarred road all the way to the front gate of Babirwa Golf and Bush Lodge
• From Johannesburg / Pretoria and surrounds, take the N1 to Bela Bela
• Through Bela Bela, take the R516 towards Thabazimbi
• Look out for the SECOND Rooiberg sign around 60km from Bela Bela on the R516 tar road. This road is marked D928 (Do NOT take the first Rooiberg turn-off, as this is a gravel road.)
• Turn right on the D928 Rooiberg road and check in at the boom gate of the Rooiberg Conservancy area
• Continue along this tarred road (the D928) for around 16km until you see the main gate of Babirwa Golf and Bush Lodge on your right (just before Rooiberg town).
• Enter through the gate and park your car at the clubhouse
