At Babirwa Golf and Bush Lodge, there are numerous activities to choose from during your stay.
Our lodge offers an 18-hole golf course, game viewing and bird watching, mountain biking, hiking, and fishing.
Our private 18-hole golf course is PGA-rated at 72 for a world-class golfing experience in the bushveld. Trained caddies are provided to assist with the carrying of your golf bag across the course.
Babirwa Golf and Bush Lodge features two exceptional mountain bike trails, perfect for the adventure enthusiast.
Our 50kms of cycling trails were designed by top mountain biking professionals and are continuously maintained to ensure an optimal riding experience. The advanced cycling course will test an experienced mountain biker with steep climbs, valleys, sharp turns and loose gravel.
Our beginner trail uses the golf course as a base and allows you to come up close and personal to the game that love to graze in this area.
Our walking trails are perfect for having breakfast “al fresco” up in the mountains, which can be arranged for special occasions.
Please bring your own mountain bike to ride our trails.
The majestic 11-hectare Kingfisher Dam, home to thriving aquatic life, lies at the north western boundary of the farm and is perfect for kayaking, boat paddling and fishing, where we practice a catch and release experience.
We have one double plastic kayak and paddles available at the lake for your enjoyment.
Please bring your own fishing gear along.
You will notice the beauty of our extensive birdlife and our wealth of game. Babirwa invests in the breeding of rare and endangered species of game, and is home to antelope, sable, roan and golden hartebeest, black impala, giraffe, nyala, jackals, zebra and more.
Prime game viewing and bird watching experiences can be arranged by your butler.

• Our private 18-hole golf course is PGA-rated at 72 for an amazing golfing experience in the bushveld, complete with game wandering around the course to keep you company
• Our new club house features all expected amenities, with full bar, change rooms, lounge area with fireplace, dining stoep and boma, as well as an outdoor pool
• We provide caddies who will carry your bag with you (no golf carts)
• Please bring your own clubs and all equipment (we do not have a pro shop)
• Our course is private, so it will only be you and your group playing
